    Using Paint 3D in Filmmaking

I've been checking the forums and licence agreements regarding the use of the premade Paint 3D models in commercial projects, but I've noticed some conflicting answers.

The licence agreements seem to suggest that the models themselves, as they are, cannot be used for commercial projects without a commercial agreement or licence, but then discussions of intellectual property laws on the forums here seem to suggest that once the models are combined and altered in a single image they become new intellectual property that can then be used in the context of a film. Could I please have some clarification on this matter before I proceed with the project?

For context, I'm involved with the low-budget production of a sci-fi web series episode, and my hope was to combine the skyscraper models and some other models in a single image either 3D or 2D, we haven't decided yet to create a "city" for use as a backdrop in the episode. I'm also creating the logos of several fictional companies as part of the world-building. I've been having a lot of fun using the Paint 3D software and working on this project so far and I've attached a work-in-progress of the "city" for reference as to the kind of thing I'm pulling together if permitted.Using Paint 3D in Filmmaking [IMG]
