Windows 10: Frequent BSOD crashes on Windows 10 WHEA Uncorrectable Error

Hey there!


I bought a refurbished laptop last week and ever since then I have gotten frequent BDOS crashes. The software guy said it was a windows problem and changed the windows 10 version from 20004 to 1903 but I am still getting the crashes. I have posted results from dump files. Please let me know how to fix this.


I used Driver Boost to updated the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers because there was a yellow error sign on Standard SATA AHCI Controller. After updating from Driver Boost it changed to Intel R 6th generation core processor family platform I/O sata/ahci controller with no yellow signs but it crashed again and showed the igdkmd64.sys.


I have been on it for a week now with disturbed working hours. Please help me locate and fix the problem. Thank you!


PS. Idk much about computers I use google to understand.

Windows 10 BSOD WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR

Hello,

I am using Windows 10 and my computer crashes at random points. The error code for the BSOD I get is WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR.

here is the DMP file for the latest BSOD

For the problem details it states:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffa10accf6c028, 0x00000000b4002000, 0x0000000017000145). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 42f301ef-15fb-489f-9815-c2861588787a.

I checked all drivers and found no updates. I also reset my computer and deleted everything but it still keeps crashing with WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR BSOD.

 

WHEA Uncorrectable error

Hi there,

I have recently started getting frequent BSOD with WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR codes.

I installed a new 1200W PSU which didn't boot the PC, so when I reverted back to my original 1000W PSU I am getting constant WHEA BSOD.

If anyone could help me diagnose the problem I would be very grateful.

Im not sure if I need to upload my system specs or any crash logs, etc.

If you can get into Safe Mode or Windows per the above recovery steps, there is also good info on the error from NeoSmart here:

If it persists I would also Run the Blue Screen Troubleshooter at Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
