Windows 10: Can changing from Windows 7 to Linux to Windows 10 fix registry, dll and windows update errors?

It's 2 AM as of posting this and I am asking this question because I can't stop thinking about it.

Can changing from Windows 7 to Linux to Windows 10 fix registry, dll, and windows update error?

I have a prebuilt low-end PC that I have been using since early 2016.

AMD A8-7600 no graphics card 1866 mhz 8gb single stick ram and on still running on a 1tb hdd.

My version of Windows 7 has been corrupted to the point of being unable to install Discord, AMD Drivers, Games I wanted to play, and has stopped me from even directly upgrading my pc to Windows 10.

I'm thinking that if Linux isn't from microsoft and probably isn't microsoft resource dependent. I could just go install Linux. Remove all of the remaining microsoft residue left on my computer and go back and install Windows 10 and solve every problem I've had since 2018.

The problem is that I don't know how to execute this properly, or know if this will even work.


This is just me guessing. I'm not a software engineer, I'm not smart enough for that. Thats why I'm here asking questions.

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

They made it part of the WU client then, or it's two different things doing the same. Too bad you can't download it separately.

• Fix for a Windows Update error 0x8007000E on some computers while they are updating.
• Some reliability improvements.

 

Repair Windows 7/8/10

December 3, a number of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 users reported that they are experiencing Windows Update error 80248015 on Windows 7 when they check for system updates.

For now, there are at least two workarounds to fix the broken Windows update system on Windows 7.
