Windows 10: HP 8600 printer will not scan to network folder after updating to Win 10.

After purchasing a new computer with Win 10 I can not use my network scan folder. The Win 7 machine still works fine. When I setup the new network folderScan I get a Error message "cannot connect the server, or connection failed". Have done all updates drivers Firmware for printer. Windows machine is updated. Setup for folder shared, Security and permissions is done. I believe the Printer and Win 10 machine are not talking, but why?

Win 10 doesn't recognize my HP 8600 printer

I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 and for a little while my HP 8600 all in one printer/scanner worked fine. Then all of a sudden it won't work. I've tried reinstalling the printer many times, but it doesn't recognize it on the network. However, the printer
says it's on the network. Win 10 is not recognizing it.

 

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Print or Scan

I used the disc to install the printer but now I can't find it. On one HP site I found drivers for a bunch of Office jet Pro in the 8600 range but no 8600, they were all listed separately. If I had the disc I wouldn't have this problem maybe .

I absolutely hate windows 10!
