Windows 10: Windows 10 installation on m.2 nvme ssd

I am trying to install microsoft windows as a second OS on my brand new PC with M/B: Gigabyte z390 UD and M.2 nvme SSD. This is the only drive installed and it seems that windows cannot detect any drives on my computer, however fedora linux as well as any other works perfectly fine right out of the box. I googled that and found some tips but it didnt help. I tried disabling CSM, secure

boot, fast boot, I tried enabling all that mentioned as well - same behavior. I can obviously buy an additional ssd and connect to sata, but I dont think it’s worth. I have plenty of space on my 1TB drive and I created special empty partition for windows.

Any suggestions?

about intel optane memory + NVMe™ M.2 SSD

nitially

intel optane memory M10(16,32,64gb)PCIe NVMe M.2 3.0x2 was for accelerating 2.5'SATA mechanical HDD regardless of which generation intel CPUs.

also note :

not talking about Intel® Optane™ Memory H10 with Solid State Storage (32gb+1tb, 32gb+512gb ,16gb+256gb)PCIe NVMe3.0x4 that comes as a single m.2 drive which is mounted on single m.2 slot

but now why

intel optane memory M15(16,32,64gb)(PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4)is-- paired with --PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSDs {which is mounted on two differnt m.2 slots on 7th ,8th and 9th gen intel CPUs}

what is the purpose

ex: 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD + Intel® Optane™ memory 32 GB on (Intel® Core™ i7 9750H) seen from HPs Omen X 2S - 15 Gaming Laptop.

 

NVME SSD

I am having difficulty with installing Windows 10 on a 500gb WD m.2 2280 nvme ssd. I have a crosshair vii hero, AMD ryzen 7 2700x. The windows 10 1909 uefi usb drive has a basic unttend.xml in it, to help setup some settings during the install. I have
followed every direction post i could find about installing windows 10 to a nvme drive, and i cant get Windows 10 to see the nvme ssd.

 

Windows 10 32bit on M.2 NVMe SSD

Hello,

Been trying to install Windows 10 32bit on a Samsung M.2 970 EVO NVMe SSD. Enabled the Legacy support in BIOS (UEFI can't be disabled), cleaned and converted the SSD to MBR during installation using Diskpart tool and went forward. Windows reports what it's
shown in below picture. Creating new partition on the SSD isn't possible. The other drive 0 is a SATA HDD.



Posted on both HP Forums (because it's an HP laptop) and Samsung Forums about this case asking to know if it's possible to install that OS version on that SSD. There's no responses, so I came here to do the same.

Is it possible?
