    Computer Extremely Slow/Laggy After Wake-Up


    I build a whole computer about a month ago. Since I have build the computer, everything, for the most part, works completely fine except when it comes to sleeping.

    When the computer wakes up from a sleep, no matter how long, it is unbelievably laggy to the point where it will freeze for minutes on end, or just lag in and out constantly. It is literally so bad that every time I wake it up from sleep, I have to hold the power button to restart the machine. Upon restart, it works fine again. Since I build the computer, I found that the motherboard I originally bought had issues, so I have since swapped MOBO's and PSU's, although the problem persists. When installing the new MOBO, I also wiped the computer again and reinstalled windows. Freshly updated and installed all drivers needed.

    When it comes to troubleshooting, I have messed a bit with the sleeping settings to no avail, and have now been looking into BIOS to see if there is anything that I can do. Are there any BIOS sleep settings I can play around with without completing messing up my computer?

    MOBO: MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon Wifi

    RAM: Corsair 32gb

    CPU: I7 10700

    GPU: MSI GTX 960

    Slow & Laggy PC

    Hello,

    So, a few months ago i decided to upgrade from windows 8 to windows 10 Home, everything went though smoothly. a month later i decided to upgrade to windows 10 pro. after upgrading my pc has became extremely slow and laggy. i can barely watch videos, play
    games, web page load extremely slow, everything just slow. so i thought maybe windows 10 pro just isnt for me, so i downgraded back to windows 10 home and everything is still the same, slow and laggy and my CPU and RAM always 100% even when i just have chrome
    open. i deleted the windows.old folder, did a clean install but nothing works. any suggestion?

    My pc is a Dell System Inspiron N7110

    installed memory ram: 4.00 GB (3.90) GB unstable

    Slow and laggy

    I just upgraded to win10 and now my computer takes a long time to restart. It's also slow and laggy once it's rebooted. How can I fix this?
