Windows 10: Windows 10 activation error

I own a Toshiba Qosmio x500 and it came with windows 7 which is now Windows 10 through the free upgrade.

Suddenly, 2 years after the windows is now reporting as not activated.

1. There is no new hardware installed

2. I have tried it with the Antivirus uninstalled

3. I have run the troubleshoot but it still comes up with the error message - 0xc0000022

4. Software protection service cannot be started System error 5 access denied and the folder read/write settings cannot be changed

5. Office 365 cannot be installed

I am lost - what do I do without downgrading my OS to windows 7?

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
