BSOD and System Reboot - Bug Check 0x3B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

    Hi guys,

I need some assistance with a problem I've encountered. Recently I had two BSODs with system's reboot afterwards. First time a few weeks ago I didn't take it too serious, but having a second one today I need to fix what's causing the issue.

I isolated the error message: - The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b 0x0000000080000003, 0xfffff8042348db43, 0xffff9b8447add650, 0x0000000000000000. A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: d0299845-030f-493b-9175-1f031a32b3f0.

and probably with this Bug Check 0x3B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, as I'm seeing here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...gger/bug-check-0x3b--system-service-exception

I must have a problem with one of my drivers.. probably display?.

I feel like I need a little assistance with the problem.

Here there are the minidumps file: Minudumps File

    Kind regards.

    :)

BSOD 0x3B SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, always seconds after start, caused by Windows Update Service?

    Hi!

since two days my notebook always stops seconds after start with a BSOD:

On Thu 14.07.2016 20:09:13 GMT your computer crashed

    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\071416-7218-01.dmp

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x142780)

    Bugcheck code: 0x3B (0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF8009AF0269F, 0xFFFFD00024CED720, 0x0)

    Error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System

    company: Microsoft Corporation

    description: NT Kernel & System

Bug check description: This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.

The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

On Thu 14.07.2016 20:09:13 GMT your computer crashed

    crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp

This was probably caused by the following module: ntdll.sys (ntdll!NtOpenKeyEx+0x14)

    Bugcheck code: 0x3B (0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF8009AF0269F, 0xFFFFD00024CED720, 0x0)

    Error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

Bug check description: This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.

A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: ntdll.sys .

    Google query: ntdll.sys SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

I changed nothing in the system since a long time. Only a windows update was installed the day before the problem started.

Since that, I was only able to start windows in safe mode.

Now, I found out by trying "Clean Startups" with more and services, that the Service "Windows Update" causes the Problem.

    It is disabled now.

Fortunately I can use the System now, but without Windows Update.

I would be glad to get an advice what I could do to solve the problem.

    Thanks,

    Alex
