Windows 10: OneDrive folder with a PDF file that doesn't open

I opened my OneDrive folder though I never have actually used or set it up. Once I checked inside there were 2 empty folders as I assume there should and a PDF file with the title "Getting started with OneDrive." I have never used OneDrive so I clicked to open the pdf, but the file however simply does not open and the image of a PDF with a silver X mark is visible as the thumbnail for the file itself. Is this an issue on my PC?

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Does the issue persist in Edge browser?
• Do you get similar error when you open the PDF file in Adobe reader?

Check if you are facing similar issue in Edge browser.



Step 1: Open PDF file in Adobe reader and check if you are facing similar issue.



To open PDF file directly from Adobe reader, follow the steps below:

• Open Adobe application and click on Edit.
• Click on Preferences and select Internet.
• Uncheck Display PDF in Browser option and check if you are able to open the PDF file without getting the error code.

Step 2: If you are able to open PDF file in Adobe reader, I suggest you to
Turn off Internet Explorer,
enable it again and check if the issue is resolved.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Perfect PDF Reader works fine but do I always have to download pdf files?

I can´t find a way directly to open pdf in a mail or in OneDrive! It works only in downloaded files and if I first open PDF Reader I can open files in OneDrive. If I have to live with this problem I hope Microsoft will update WP10 quite soon!
