Windows 10: How to Enable Device in device manager AMD Radeon HD 7400M series

After Disabling the AMD gpu i wanted to enable it back but it won't let me

AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series - Error code 43


Hi,

I have a laptop named HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC running Windows 10 x64 legit and have 2 GPUs, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series (slow redering) and AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series (fast rendering)

Windows 7 is having some problems and my license were expired so i upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 x64. All drivers are working perfectly but there is a problem. The device AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series has stopped working with error code 43 and the HDMI is not working. The problem occur on Windows 8 and 8.1 x64 too. Everything are updated from Windows Update and the graphics driver with AMD settings were installed itself.

I downloaded the correct driver for Windows 8 x64 model from the HP manufacturer but did not work. I can't download drivers for Windows 10 because they said, their drivers are avaliable in Windows Update. Also the graphics driver is also not working with Windows 8.1 even the driver was made Windows 8/8.1.

I uninstalled the graphics driver (AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series) from Device Manager and AMD catalyst software, rebooted my laptop with signature driver check disabled and run AMD driver settings as an admin with Windows 7 compatibility, but it also not working. I uninstalled the graphics driver and scan for hardware changes, and few minutes later, the driver was installed and windows says it is working, but HDMI still not working and video playback still horrible.

I had updated the BIOS to the latest version before i install clean Windows OS. AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series works perfectly on Chrome OS and video playback is very smooth so it's not the hardware problem. It must be the Windows problem.

Only graphic driver ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series is working perfectly. The video playback is lagging a lot and it is very very very slow to render.

Driver Update Issue - AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series

Myself Anish, I am facing an issue while updating my Display Adaptors - AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series. OS (System) reboots with a Blue Screen of Death. It works well when i disable It. Can Anyone help me to rid off from this Annoying Process.

I have a Lenovo U400 laptop with dual built-in graphics cards (Intel HD Graphics 3000 and AMD Radeon HD 7400M). After the Windows 10 system update in October 2018, the AMD driver has stopped my system from starting up (This also occurs when I attempt to
install the AMD software to control the graphics card). I have to uninstall it, in Safe Mode, in order to boot into Windows 10. This has effectively made this video card null. I have recently installed the latest Windows 10 update for this laptop and have
had the new AMD Radeon HD 7400M series driver installed and I am still having this issue. Is there any solution to this problem? I would really appreciate it! (The screenshots below show the display adapters, which are operating properly until I try to restart
the pc or install AMD control software, and the system properties)
