Hello everyone!


I really often get the error code: "Event ID 10016"


The Anwendungsspezifisch permission settings do not grant Lokal Aktivierung permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

{2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}

and APPID

{15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}

to the user Felix\Felix SID S-1-5-21-2819926952-3762260156-3734605022-1001 from address LocalHost unter Verwendung von LRPC running in the application container Nicht verfügbar SID Nicht verfügbar. This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.



So I already searched multiple solutions. I already changed as described in other posts the specific permission settings for the CLSID and APPID. But when I try to change the launch and activation permissions under RuntimeBroker That's the Component Service the Event is related to I got the Windows Security error:


"One or more of the permission entries attached to Registry Value has an unrecognized type and can not be displayed"


As I did everything mentioned in previous posts I do not now what to do next.


I would really appreciate if someone could help me with that problem.

After my Windows 10 upgrade i see this well-known DCOM Event-ID 10016 in the event viewer:

"The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}

and APPID

{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}

to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool."

It is from the Runtimebroker.exe - i know this error was in Windows 8.1 and below, too in the past ->

But the solutions from there, which worked till Win 8.1, don't work now under Windows 10.

Has anybody a solution for this under Windows 10? I'm not sure if this error has an effect or causes bugs, but the Event Log gets very big because of the many 10016 IDs every time.

Thx in advance for any info or solution in that case.

"These events can be safely ignored because they do not adversely affect functionality and are by design. This is the recommend action for these events."
