    Multiple Random BSOD - ntoskrl/Crtical Process Died


    Thanks in advance for any help.

    PC starting crashing a few weeks back with Critical Process Died. Maybe once a day at first.
    Gradually got worse & during the Windows 10 20H2 update got corrupt & went into bootloop, requiring a complete windows re-install.

    Now still unstable in ver 1709 16299.1127

    So far I have tried: sfc scan
    chkdsk
    Windows memory diagnostic

    Dropping out one RAM - with one of the RAM in only it does seem maybe a little more stable but definitely still crashing.

    I haev attached the v2 log.
    Any suggestions gratefully received... however anything which can run from the win troubleshooter or usb would be helpful if possible as often I cannot get the PC to run for more than 1 min without crashing.

    Constant Critical Process Died BSOD


    I get these random critical process died BSOD when I'm doing random things -- watching a movie or playing a video game. It happens during internet browsing as well. Please help.

    Hi Tony,

    The blue screen error with a stop code 'Critical Process Died' that you encountered can be caused by a recent update, device drivers that got corrupted or system files that got corrupted. For us to resolve your concern, kindly answer the questions below:

    • What changes were made or what updates were installed prior to the issue occurring?
    • Did you mean to say that you ran your device in safe mode when you said that you booted the device with only Microsoft Processes running?
    • Which version and build of Windows 10 is installed on your device?

    As an initial recommendation, we suggest that you follow the steps on this
    link     to run the driver verifier. Driver verifier is an inbuilt tool in the Windows operating system, which helps you to test the drivers which may be corrupted. These corrupted drivers may contribute as to why you're getting a "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD)
    or stop errors.

    Critical Process Died BSOD after "PC Reset"

    The OS was super laggy and then died. I think my ssd is dead. I found an article that mentioned symptoms of bad blocks on an ssd and if you look at the big picture and not just the recent BSOD most of my random BSODS were either currupt system image, bootloader,
    or critical process died. None of them were repairable with windows tools so it seems it cojld be the drive.
