Windows 10: Adata USB no longer reads

Discus and support Adata USB no longer reads in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I was doing a windows update with it plugged in and now it only shows the "eject media" icon for a HDD 330 drive, however it never reads the discs......     Adata USB no longer reads


    I was doing a windows update with it plugged in and now it only shows the "eject media" icon for a HDD 330 drive, however it never reads the discs...

    5TB loads of info on it...
    --
    What can i do...it was in a reboot as i left it plugged in during the windows update assisstant manager/updateing to the latest 20h2 version...

    USB is not being read

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience you are facing and will assist you in solving the issue.

    To assist you better, I would like to ask if the system is able to detect other USB devices.

    I suggest you to update the USB drivers by following the steps provided below:

    • Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
    • Expand Universal Serial Bus Controller.
    • Right click on the drive, select Update Driver Software and follow the on-screen prompts.

    Adata USB no longer reads

    Adata SX8200 2TB Nvme not detected in Bios

    Thanx for the welcome Adata USB no longer reads :)
    Said drive is a media drive. OS is installed on a 128gb Intel 760p. The Adata drive can no longer be found in bios boot order.
