Windows 10: Mouse jumps around (!) all the time; "updatest" driver from 2006 (?)

Hi there!
My mouse is simply jumping around a lot: many times it simply reappears in the right bottom of my screen without a warning, while I'm pointing to a different area. I use an external monitor, and a simple optical wireless Logitech mouse (though this happens with all mice I tried!).

I thought it may be a driver issue, but in Device manager I get always the same: the latest driver is from 2006! Nothing on google to solve this either! Help!

Microsoft Sculpt Mouse - BT - Discconects - Old Drivers (2006)

After upgrading to Win 10 my older Dell BT mouse would not maintain connection. IT will connect, and every 5-10 minutes it disconnects,and I have to turn it off and back on to re-connect. Could not find drivers newer than 2006 for it.

I purchased a Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse, reading on Amazon it worked fine with Win 10. It acts exactly same as the old Dell.

No drivers came with it. I checked the mouse BT drivers, and it is the same 2006 MS drivers. I tried to have it find newer drivers, and said it was most current (2006...really?)

So I searched and ended up on a MS product page for the mouse, and only thing to download was Mouse and Keyboard Centre 2.5 64-bit.

Any suggestions on how I can get this mouse working?

 

Jumping mouse cursor

Mouse cursor keeps jumping out of control. I've uninstalled it (there were 3 listed under the mouse device) and then updated the device driver. Didn't fix it. What do I do?
