I want to get rid of ads for my solitaire game but to do so I have to accept a bunch of games I'll never use. Can that problem be fixed? The cost used to be $15 per year. That option is no longer available. Now it's accepting games I don't want and will never use. Opting out of the extra games is not an option. What can be done to fix this rude insistence affecting game play?

pop up ads on hearts/solitaire/ae solitaire games-can I get rid of them

I am sick and tired of having ads pop up at the side of the screen when I am playing hearts/solitaire/ae solitaire games. How can I get rid of them? This just started recently and is really making me angry. Please advise.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install the game and check. To do so, follow the steps:

Right click on the app(spider solitaire).

Select Uninstall.

To re-install spider solitaire game, go to Windows Store and re-install it.

Just use the free package kpatience available in a Linux distro and run in a VM or use WSL on Windows and install - it's a bit fiddly using WSL to get some GUI apps but it's doable. A VM is the easiest.

Then ad free, no ad blockers needed and decent games too. The old W7 stuff I think works as well --always good to have multiple choices.
