Windows 10: BSOD when launching MS Flight Sim from either Xbox game pass or MS Store - MS Store Pkg...

Hi there, after running it for a few days without an issue, today when I try to launch MS Flight Sim 2020 from Xbox live for PC app, and also from MS Store, I am repeatedly BSOD crashes.


Prior to the crash, a "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC" box comes up. The app listed is MS Store Package Dependency Installer. Regardless of whether I click "Yes" or "No", the BSOD occurs immediately after the selection.


I have tried "reset" of the MS Store app and also the MS Flight Sim app.


Hoping to find help with this. Nothing really helpful has come up when I search online.

How do I find the Download Link for MS Flight Sim 2020 - bought at the MS Store

I purchased the new MS Flight Sim 2020 from the MS Store and cannot find how to download the sim. I would have assumed to receive an email with a link on the day of launch but I suppose that would be too much to ask. There's no link on the store or on
my MS account. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Thanks for the reply.

I don't have the flight sim in my list of apps as I haven't been able to download it.

In my account in Microsoft store, my order history shows my order, and the fact that I paid £109.99. for the premier deluxe version of MS Flight Sim 2020.

I appreciate that it cannot be used until the 18th, but MS state that it can be downloaded (150GB) now, in readiness.
