How do I get the taskbar open with left edge swipe, integrated into timeline at screen bottom?

Originally, my taskbar opened with left edge swipe together with timeline. I just swiped from the left, and the task view timeline had the taskbar at the bottom.

At that time, I contacted the online Microsoft Surface support to change it into an XP style taskbar opening on its own from the bottom.

Now I want it back like it was: integrated within timeline.

    Can someone help me?

    :)

    Disable left edge swipe

Had the same problem with my Surface 3.

    This helped me:

Enable or Disable Edge Swipe on Screen in Windows 10

This disables swipe on all edges (while only left edge was a problem...)

  3. how to remove swipe-up screen in windows 10 tablet?

    i read:

Out-of-the-box, Windows 10 supports the following set of edge swipe actions:

    • Swipe in from the right side of your screen to open Action Center.
    • Swipe in from the left to view all your open apps in Task View.
    • Swipe in from the top to show the app's title bar while Tablet Mode is on.
    • Swipe in from the bottom to view the taskbar in fullscreen apps while Tablet Mode is on or when the Taskbar is auto-hidden.
this is not what i was talking about

i installed regedit that disables edge swipe

nevertheless, every time i turn the screen off. and then turn it back on, im looking at the landscape those two mountains in the sea and time and date, i dont know what this screen is called, i call it swipe up screen, its probably called lock screen but
i have removed lock screen, so it doesnt have a lock, its just worthless screen i have to swipe away

are we on a same page`?

How do I get the taskbar open with left edge swipe, integrated into timeline at screen bottom?

Change taskbar swipe in pure tablet mode

I have my taskbar positioned at the top of the screen (personal taste). When in pure tablet mode - that is, no keyboard or mouse, the only way to display the taskbar is to swipe up from the bottom of the screen. It would be more friendly and consistent if
the swipe direction had followed the taskbar to the top edge of the screen (I realise it wouldn't make sense to follow a left or right side taskbar, but there doesn't seem to be any swipe associated with the top of the screen).

Does anyone know if there's a way to set the taskbar to respond to a swipe down from the top of the screen instead?
