Windows 10: Monitor falling asleep while playing games

I know exactly what caused the issue and it occurs for only one program that engages my dgpu. Other games and applications don't do this. It only started when I manually added the program in question to the list of customizable programs on nvidia control panel. The game is from the epic games store and I found it quite odd that it wasn't on the list already as all my steam games are automatically added upon download. I suppose now I know why as it seems that my dgpu no longer overrides my desktop power saving options for the game. I suppose that prior to me adding the .exe to the control panel, the game would go by the Epic Client's default gpu protocol which makes sense as the store seems to (annoyingly) engage my dgpu every time I open it despite my efforts. I digress.

I realize that I can set the time before idle screen is shut off to never in my power settings but I actually do prefer it at 15 minutes during normal use. I just don't like having to move my mouse while playing this game every 15 minutes as I use a controller to play.

Is there any way I can remove the .exe from nvidia control panel. I suspect this is the cause but any other fixes will be appreciated.

Computer falling asleep

Everytime i log onto my compuyer (windows 10 desktop) it shows the desktop background, loads up the files, then falls asleep. This is really annoying beciase i have been having another issue for a few months that makes it so i have to turn off my computer
and turn it back on whenever it falls asleep. How do i make it stop falling asleep manually?

 

Laptop falling asleep while listening to music, podcasts, etc.

A few weeks ago, my laptop started falling asleep in the middle of me listening to music, podcasts, etc. It never used to do this. I have the time set to turn off the screen after a minute, and then a minute after to fall asleep. Before this started being an issue, it would not fall asleep if an audio stream was in use, but now if I am on battery power, it will. This morning when my laptop was plugged in, I set the time to turn off the screen and fall asleep to a minute for when it is plugged in, and it wouldn't fall asleep while I was listening to music, so this seems to only be an issue when I'm running off of battery power.

Option to play Music while playing game on Windows 10

No I have not been able to mute anything. I play the AARP games and the only way I can mute them is to switch to IE and then that runs so slow you could fall asleep waiting for it to load. NO it's not my computer it's that STUPID MS EDGE. If I could get
rid of it I would.
