Windows 10: Windows 10 timezone reverting back to pacific

So an issue I've been having is my timezone keeps resetting to pacific but I am in Mountain I looked around but didn't see anything that really helped fix the issue just how to show the issue. If I could get help that'd be great! Here is a screenshot of Windows Powershell with the time zone and that does not match my timezone.

Timezone on Windows keeps resetting to Pacific time.

When I first built this computer, I realized the time wasn't set correctly so I went into settings to fix it. I saw that the timezone was set to pacific time although I'm in central time. I tried changing the timezone, but nothing changed. I tried some
other things in settings but the only thing that worked was to set the time manually which worked at the time so i thought nothing about it, But I realized that in certain apps or websites that use the computers timezone, the time was still incorrect. I took
a look back at settings and saw that even though the time was correct the timezone was still set to pacific. I tried some more to change the timezone but every time it would just reset back to pacific time. This issue is really annoying, and if anyone could
share a solution, that would be great.

 

Cannot change timezone in Windows 10

I cannot change the timezone in Windows10. It's stuck in Pacific Standard Time. I select Eastern Standard Time and it reverts back to Pacific Standard Time. I did it via "Time and Language" setting and via RegEdit, with same result. In "Date and Time"
setting, I tried changing "Pacific Standard Time" to "Eastern Standard Time" and it result in "Your change can not be saved" error message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cannot change timezone to Abu Dhabi from Pacific, US Time

Yes I did.

It still shows the same time for the default timezone - "(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)"
