Windows 10: Upgrade from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro - Now my Windows will not activate

I upgraded from Win 10 Home to Win 10 Pro via the Store. Installation failed. Now Settings tells me I have a non-activated version of Win10 Enterprise. Error 0X800705B4 When I try to activate it tells me I have to purchase a genuine version of Win 10 Enterprise Retail. If I try to do that I get this message

Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

I bought Windows 7 Pro OEM key from G2Play.net for 12€ to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro - worked like a charm but be advised if you buy a OEM key you can not download the Win 7 iso from microsoft and have to get it elsewhere.

 

Win 10 Pro upgrade using Win 8 Pro product key

I just bought a new computer running Win 10 Home. When I went to upgrade to Win 10 Pro using my Win 8 Pro product key from my old computer, the upgrade wouldn't activate.

Now I'm stuck with a bunch of error messages (mainly 0xC004C003) and am being told windows isn't activated. I can't seem to get my activated Win 10 Home back.

I don't have a product key for the Win 10 Home because it came pre-installed. There's no product code recorded on the packaging or labelling on the device.

So:

How do I either

• activate the Win Pro upgrade, or
• Get my activated Win 10 home back?

 

Windows 10 activation question

Hi,

I own a legal licence of Win 8. Can I format my drive and install Win 10 and then activate it with my Win 8 key? Or will I have to install Win 8 and then upgrade to Win 10?

There has been so much written about all the ways we can upgrade but I haven't seen the answer to this yet. I want to do a clean install and don't want to do an upgrade.
