  1. Is there a way to save group membership in AD so as to restore it later?

Hi everyone,I recently encountered a situation where a user was disabled and removed from their security & distribution groups. They were later re-enabled but of course were no longer part of their previous groups, so the original user access records had to be reviewed and we manually re-added the user to the appropriate groups one by one. My question is... is there a way to restore group memberships after users have already been removed from those memberships. Something like a group membership "history" if you will?

    :)

  2. Lost Administrators Group Membership

My wife's normally signs in to her computer using her Microsoft account. So as a user on the system she shows up as "C900," which is the model number of the computer.

Her account had Administrators Group membership, but I accidentally removed it.

I'm attempting to restore this membership without much luck.

I have activated the Administrator account but I cannot log in under this account. I can access the command line as Administrator, but Administrator seems to have limited authority there.

    Using the command,

    "net user"

does not show my wife's account.

Creating an account with Administrators Group membership using,

    "net localgroup Administrators NEWUSER /add

seems to create a user temporarily but upon a reboot the user disappears.

    I am stumped.

Is there a way to regain Administrators Group membership for this account?

    Azure AD user's group membership

I'm trying to figure out if a user who logs into Azure AD has the following group:

    NT AUTHORITY\Cloud Account Authentication

    I don't have Azure AD, so I can't check.

So, could someone who has a Azure AD login on a Windows 10 client please run a "whoami /groups" and tell me if that group appears in the list?

    Trouble saving voicemail number

To access my voicemail it is my phone number, a pause and 4 digit pin.

    I did the following steps:

    • Turned off default voicemail number
    • Added a , (for pause) at end of my phone number
    • Added the 4 digit pin
I get the following error message We're having trouble saving your voicemail number right now. Try again later.

Any suggestions on how to correct this?
