  1. Can not get Mic Input device to be recognised on Bluetooth headsets Windows 10 Pro

Installed windows 10 Pro on a MacBook Pro partition, Now I cant connect the mic on a Jabra Headset, The system only recognises the output device not the input. I've tried updating drivers, re-loading Bluetooth, re-booting etc, etc. The head set works on other devices and other working headsets are not recognised by windows 10 pro. The functions did work on this PC on a previous install. is there a fix to get any Bluetooth Mic working again? Many thanks

    :)

  2. Windows 11 not detecting bluetooth headset mic

    Hello there,

I'm Gowtham, I'll be happy to help you!

I apologize for the issue you are experiencing. Please be assured that I will do my best to respond satisfactorily and assist you with resolving the problem.

    Please try the following steps:

Step 1: Change the Bluetooth device discovery setting

=> If you don't see your Bluetooth device displayed in the list of devices, you may need to set your Bluetooth devices discovery setting to Advanced.

    => Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Devices.

=> Under Device settings > Bluetooth devices discovery, choose one of the following from the drop-down list:

    -Default—displays common Bluetooth devices

-Advanced—displays all types of Bluetooth devices

Step 2: Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

Select Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Next to Bluetooth, select Run and follow the instructions.

Step 3: Make sure that the Bluetooth headset mic is selected as the input device. To do this, go to Settings > System > Sound > Input. Under Choose your input device, select the Bluetooth headset mic.

Step 4: Restart the Bluetooth Support Service

Windows Key+R > Type services.msc > Enter > Once the Services window opens, locate Restart Bluetooth Support Service > right-click > Restart.

Step 5: Uninstall the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager

=> Select Search on the taskbar, enter Device Manager, then select Device Manager from the results.

=> In Device Manager, select Bluetooth. Press and hold (or right-click) the Bluetooth adapter name (which may include the word “radio”), and select Uninstall device > Uninstall.

=> Select Start, then select Power > Shut down.

=> After your device shuts down, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Windows will try to reinstall the driver.

If Windows doesn't reinstall the driver automatically, open Device Manager and select Action > Scan for hardware changes.

Hope it helps you. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

  3. Bluetooth Headset Recognised as Headphone

I try to connect to a new headset for the first time. There are 2 separate bluetooth drivers were installed when the device is connected, for headphone (no microphone) and for headset (with microphone). The device is only recognised as headphone so the microphone
is not recognised by the computer, and when I go to the headset driver it says that "device connected: <false>".

On my other computer (also Windows 10), both drivers are also installed but the device is recognised by both drivers so I can switch between headset and headphone in the output and the headset is connected in the input.

  4. Can not get Mic Input device to be recognised on Bluetooth headsets Windows 10 Pro

Windows not detecting bluetooth headset microphone (treats headset as just headphones)

Using JBL 750BTNC headset with Windows

Bluetooth works well on other devices both for output (headphones) and input (mic built into headphones)

Until about a week ago this headset worked well with the PC via bluetooth

Stopped working in the middle of a Teams call - I reset/restarted everything, disconnected and reconnected bluetooth - then when I initially could not select the headset microphone I then bluetooth re-paired the headset.

Since that time Windows refuses to recognise the headset as anything other than headphones

The mic on the headset works with all other devices - suggesting not a hardware problem

Asus Windows 10 Enterprise PC version 2004 OS build 19041.208 Windows feature experience pack 120.2202.130.0

    Tried adjusting sound mixer/system tray

    Tried updating software drivers

No good - windows refuses to acknowledge that the headset microphone exists
