Windows 10: Windows 10 Update Killed Startup Apps

My Windows 10 is Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 22H2Few days back I have received the following updates -KB5037768 OS Builds 19044.4412 and 19045.4412KB5038285 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2KB5001716: Update for Windows Update Service componentsAfter these updates, my windows is not starting the start-up apps e.g. OneDrive after logging-in to my account. This is happening in 2 of my devices. Had to execute the apps through Task Scheduler. Does Microsoft Windows Team know about it?

You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.

 

My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix
