Windows 10: Resetted W11, micrsoft store, windows update and notepad not working

Hello, This is my third time resetting my laptop and quite frankly I'm fed up of running into the same issues and nothing working. windows update doesn't work, it just says download and install and I'm not able to click it. I can't open notepad, I tried to reinstall it and repair it and that didn't work. I'm now no longer able to even download it as it fails when I try to via the optional features and micrsoft store, well that's no different either. It doesn't work again even after resetting.The last time I reset my laptop was maybe 6-8 months ago and I did it again today as my performance was

Windows Store Reset

Why did you delete them?

It wasn't working for me, set up as live tile but not updating the picture. I then went to featured app in the store as you suggested, then ran wsreset and it started working.

Was that your steps? I did read them but I forgot what they are now and I seem to have only done 2 steps.

 

Notepad Email doesnt Work!!

I would like to ask if the Notepad App was downloaded from Windows Store or any other third party website.

If it was downloaded from Windows Store, then suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on View all on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

If it was downloaded from a third party website, then suggest you to contact the app developer for assistance regarding the issue.

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
