Windows 10: Printer Samsung ML-1865-W in error.

Help!Hi! I have a Samsung ML1865 W printer and is in constant error and I'm unable to print. My windows is 10. I seem to have the latest update version driver for the printer but still gives me an error when printing.

Samsung Printer ML 2010 and Window 10

When I upgraded to Windows 10 my Samsung ML-2010 initially worked fine. However, after upgrading the driver to "Samsung Universal Print Driver 3" (via the Windows 10 recommendation) my 2010 lost the ability for duplex printing, selecting "toner save" via
software, and turned it into a basic printer. Samsung Canada help chat suggested I wait for a new driver, but I'm not holding my breath.

In short, if your ML-2010 is currently working OK do NOT install the "Universal Print Driver 3" for Windows 10, or your printer will lose some functionality.

The printer may not be compatible Windows 10, since the printer driver is not available for Windows 10. However, I suggest you to go to the below link, download the latest updated printer and install it in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

  Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

What isn’t working?
