Windows 10: Win10 Suddenly Slow Login

Hello,I am frustrated by a recent change I have observed when using my PC. For what it's worth, I am the only user of this PC and try to be very careful with downloading only from trusted sources.My issue is thus: as of two weeks ago or so, my PC hangs on the Windows log-in screen for 2-3 minutes. Before two weeks ago, it took a mere 5-10 seconds. Windows 10 has been installed to my SSD, hence the quick load times previously, and I have not consciously made any large system changes to my machine.I have tried the following methods to no avail:I have disabled non-essential startup processes in T

Windows 10 Very Slow Login

Hi Arul,

What's with the slow login and unlocking in Windows 10? We're still suffering with the issue, we're using high end PCs, overclocked ones with SSDs and paid that much for speed, and Windows 10 comes to slow down our machines?!

Please raise this issue to higher level management or someone who can take a real step in fixing the issue ASAP.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
