Windows 10: why the **** am I getting a blank screen with I try to begin pairing my pc with my adroid...

Everything Microsoft is driving me **** crazy. Why in God's name, when I try to pair my PC to my android phone using PhoneLink, I get a blank screen?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
