  1. Issues with getting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error screen when my games are running fine on my PC

Recently I've been having issues when I play games on my PC, I've looked at other peoples issues with this error, and tried what admins gave them to resolve the issue. But I need direct help to see what the issue is. I'm going to attach the zip file for the mini dump here. I'm also getting tired of getting the : when I'm trying to play games with friends. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kCArHr6pE-87KLVRLy58kchUuh3jduhJ/view?usp=drive_link

  2. DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

    Hi Mattie,

The DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION blue screen error can be caused by a variety of hardware, firmware, driver, or software issues. Now, you mentioned that you already changed the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers to standard. Did you update the driver as well? And also,
are you getting the same blue screen error when you play other games? Or is it only occurring when you play a particular game?

For the mean time, if you haven't tried any further troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you perform the suggested steps from this article:

Issues with getting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error screen when my games are running fine on my PC

BSOD and Reboots when Running Games - 0x00000133 and DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION Errors

I'm experiencing frustrating issues with my Windows 11 system, where it consistently blue screens or restarts whenever I try to run any game. I've tried different games, but the result is always the same.

    Error Messages:

After digging through the Event Viewer, I found the following error messages:

    • "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000001e00, 0xfffff8045691c340, 0x0000000000000000)"
    • Occasionally, I also get a BSOD with the error code "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION"
    Dump File:

I've uploaded the dump file from the latest crash to Google Drive: 050324-10796-01.dmp

    Troubleshooting Attempts:

    So far, I've tried:

    • Updating my graphics drivers to the latest version
    • Running a System File Checker (SFC) scan to ensure system file integrity
    • Ensuring my system is up-to-date with the latest Windows updates
    • Performing a system restore to a previous point, but the issue persists
Despite these efforts, the problem remains. I'd greatly appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue and get back to gaming smoothly.

    System Specs:

    • Acer Nitro 5 AN515-45 laptop
    • Ryzen 7 5800H processor
    • NVIDIA RTX 3060 graphics
    • 16 GB RAM
    • 500 GB SSD
Any help will be much appreciated!
