Windows 10: Windows Media Player video play - can't see the option to autoplay next video

I've just changed my Windows 11 OS system to use Windows Media Player - changed all MP4 file extensions to open Windows Media Player. I don't want to use TV and Films!However when I've played a video the only option is to: - play again, go to library and play prevoius list. I can't see an option to set autoplay for next video in the same folder when I goto library and check the options. In another test - I've also changed the video location to a USB and selected all videos on the USB. Again it pauses at the end of the 1st play an only gives me the same options to play again, go to library an

VLC Media Player is not an option for Autoplay DVDs

I'm trying to work through 2 problems regarding playing DVD movies on my desktop PC. This is problem #1: When I put a DVD video in the optical drive and the DVD is recognized in Explorer it does not automatically play in VLC. Should be an easy settings fix - but it is not. Note: I can open VLC > go to Media menu > and Open Disc > and the disk will play just fine. It just won't Autoplay. My settings:

• Start > Settings > Devices > Autoplay (for all media and devices) > ON
• Start > Settings > Default Apps > Video Player > set to: VLC Media Player (it is an option here)
• Control Panel > Autoplay > DVDs > looking at any selection here > VLC is not an option to choose

I think I need to get VLC recognized in Control Panel > Autoplay > DVDs How can I do this?

 

No songs or videos in Media player

I have over 1200 songs and about 40 videos, some in phone memory and some in Sd card in my N900. The only way I can play them is to go to the file mgr and bring'em 1 by 1. Same with my videos. Any suggestions is appreciated in advance for getting my media
into the media player so that it s easier to play them and be able to create play list.
