Windows 10: My C drive that has the system installed on it had 0mb on it then changed the format to...

When I was on my pc trying to do something on google chrome it told me to free up some space and when i looked at my disks it said that the C drive had 0mb of space. After that it showed the file as NTFS and after that it showed 10gb of free space. Can someone explain what happened ?

Yes i've already tried that but it didnt have delete or format option on drive C. *Frown maybe it couldnt be delete because its contain the primary system(?).I coudlnt fresh install windows 7 on drive c because my dvd is corrupted *Frown so i had to install vista x64( dont have service pack) first then mount the iso to install win 7 on another partition which result vista x64 as drive C.

 

How to change SYSTEM drive letter to C from another letter

I am working on a step by step process to fix the computer for windows 11 upgrade. (Currently have Windows 10) This was a built PC, but when my friend installed the OS for me somehow the windows install drive became the F drive. Here is a view of disk management I want to do the following (believe I need to do in this order).

1. Move windows install drive letter from F to C
2. Fix it so bootloader is MBR / on the SSD

Afraid of just changing the letter in disk management as the system will look for system files in the f-drive. I do have AOMEI partition assistant installed if that is useful for this task. I really appreciate any help in how to do it.

I just installed windows 7 x64 on drive B (boot,crash dump and primary partition), then i decided to completely remove vista x64 on drive c(system,page file,active and primary partition) and make that as another data storage.But i cant delete or format the drive C.How can i do it?And i want the windows 7x64 to be mark as drive C.Can you help me?They're both on same single hardisk.
