  1. Checking the connection to Microsoft loop

Hello, I have exhausted just about every solution I could find and I need my pc working before Monday for class. I realized some time back that when I set up my computer using the Ctrl + shift + fn +F3 shortcut, it ended up being in audit mode the whole time. I couldn’t update to windows 11 for this reason. To fix this, I tried to get out of audit mode multiple ways, such as trying to edit the audit boot section in regedit which said AuditBootVolatile for some reason, and they didn’t work. I reset my pc to try and solve this issue, and here is the problem I run into. My Pc refuses to connect

Microsoft Store Check Your Connection error

    Hi,

I am using Windows 10 Pro and I cannot access the Microsoft Store. When I open it, I get a message saying "Check your connection. Microsoft Store needs to be online. It looks like you're not." Underneath this message, there is a button labeled "Check Connection", it brings me to the Network Status page under Windows Settings. This page indicates that I am in fact connected to the Internet. I found a few videos on YouTube that suggested the following:

    1. Make sure I am not set to use a proxy server
    2. Repair the Microsoft Store App
    3. Reset the Microsoft Store App
    4. Make sure that my system date and time (including time zone) is correct and not set to automatically update.
    5. Try the Windows App troubleshooting tool for the Microsoft Store app
    6. Remove and then reinstall the Microsoft Store app.

If anyone here can suggest any other troubleshooting steps I can take, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Paul
