Windows 10: Recovery partitions aren't shown in Disk Management, so WinRE doesn't appear. What action...

The 2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5034441 will not install on my Windows 10 laptop computer.After trying the update, following message pops up in the screen "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. "Recovery partitions aren't shown in Disk Management, so WinRE doesn't appear. What action is recommended? I can't install latest windows update. Latest Windows updates available must be installed to update Zoom. I can't update Zoom, nor uninstall it, so these are linked problems.

my 3Dprinter doesn´t appear

My 3D printer doesn´t appear on when I open 3D builder on the left popup to choose printer.

Is it need to do any previous step?? I thought It was plug and play. the printer is an UP Plus2 from Tiertime so, it is one of the recommended partners manufaturers. any message of error just doesnçt possible to send the prin.

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Recreating and enabling the recovery environment (WinRE) from a recovery partition

I am trying to recreate my Windows recovery partition, and everything works until the end, but the agent shows as disabled right after I remove the letter that was assigned to the partition in order to execute the commands.

Here's the full recipe:

1. Select recovery partition and assign letter R: to it.



diskpart

list disk

select disk 0

list partition

select part 4

assign letter=R



2. Create WinRE directories in the partition:



mkdir R:\Recovery\

mkdir R:\Recovery\WindowsRE\



3. Copy the Winre.wim image to the partition

COPY C:\mount\Windows\System32\Recovery\winre.wim R:\Recovery\WindowsRE\



4. Set GUID for the partition to mark it as "Recovery" type (0 is for main disk)



diskpart

list disk

select disk 0

list partition

select part 4

set id=DE94BBA4-06D1-4D40-A16A-BFD50179D6AC



5. Disable WinRE (in case the "online" WinRE is already enabled)

reagentc /disable



6. Set the WinRE image



reagentc /setreimage /path R:\Recovery\WindowsRE\



7. Re-enable the WinRE environment



reagentc /enable



8. Doublecheck if the WinRE is active:



D:\iTunes>reagentc /info
