Windows 10: Windows 11 laptop not showing external USB drives when starting windows

I have a Dell G15 5525 with Ryzen 7 6800H, 40GB of RAM and an RTX3060, so here's the issue:I have 2 external USB SSD drives connected via a Type C USB 3.1 hub, one's SATA and the other's NVMe not sure if this would affect anything but every time I boot windows I one or both are not recognized by windows, the workaround is having to unplug/plug again every time I boot windows. The issue is that sometimes the software that are installed on the external drives are not ready to use, so some of them that start's up with windows doesn't work and the icons are white page icons like there are no ic

help. USB drive isn't assigned a drive letter.

Any usb flash drive I plug into my computer isn't assigned a drive letter. The physical drive shows in the "safely remove hardware" but it doesnt show up in disk management. I have tried to populate the volume thru the safely remove hardware properties window and it does pop up in the list but it doesn't stay there. This isn't a format or assign a letter problem. It's more complicated then that. Maybe one of the services needed for usb drive management was disabled? Suggestions needed. btw external usb harddrives work fine.
