  1. I can't "allow app to make changes to my device"

Hi, so I tried deleting an app and I had a pop-up and it was asking me for confirmation to "allow application to make changes to this device", however, I only had the option to say "no". I've looked up possible solutions, and I found only one which told me to go to the control panel and change account settings or type, however, I would get the same pop-up where I could only say "No" if I tried to change anything about the account: account settings, account type, name etc. Could anyone please help me?

    :)

  3. Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?

Win 10 Pro. 1709. Logged in as admin. I don't want to shut off UAC completely but that message gets pretty annoying at times. Is the only way to solve this is to use Task Scheduler or a third party app? or is there a setting that I am not aware of that I can just manually white list an app so I do not get that message any more? I'm talking to you VLC Media Player, CrystalDiskInfo, FarStone Image Viewer, Agent Ransack and a whole host of others. It is also not inconceivable that I made a change at some point that is bringing up that annoying message. TIA.

I can't "allow app to make changes to my device"

“Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”

    Hello everyone!

    I use Windows 10 home

Whenever I install some new software, the window appears, where I get asked the following:
“Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”

    1)
Where can I see a list, with all the apps that has been granted access?

    2)
What parts of my system does the app get access to?

    3)
The whole drive with all my data?

Thank you in advance for replying

    Best regards
