Windows 10: Wifi password automatically taken in a new laptop after configurantion

Hello,i was using a laptop connected to a wi-fi. unfortunately the laptop got defective, so i purchased a new laptop.after configuring the new laptop, while connecting to the wi-fi , it connected to the wi-fi without asking for the credentials of the wi-fi.So i want to reason behind it. how it got connected to the wi-fi without asking for the credentials.

not at all. it is brand new laptop, on configuring for the first time, it automatically connected to the wi-fi.

You have probably already connected to that WiFi before at least once without realizing it.

However, go to Start>Settings>Network and Internet>Wi-Fi>Manage known networks, delete/forget all existing WiFi network profiles, then manually reconnect to your Wi-Fi network by correctly re-entering the existing WiFi password. is set on the router.
