Windows 10: Corrupt files both DISM and SFC couldnt fix. Windows 11

I was trying to play a couple of games but every time i would attempt to play one it would come up with a crash.I looked up information on the subject and learned i needed to use the terminal to scan with sfc and if that didn't work use DISM to clean up the corrupt files.Whenever i would scan with the prompt: {sfc /scannow } it would come up with this Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located atwindir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. I tried this method on both safe boot and standard

So, i tried using DISM to fix the problem, it would blue screen me.

Then i tried to boot up a Windows 11 ISO file which caused another error to pop up claiming that " the source file could not be found" whenever i mounted it.

Finally in my most recent method i tried to setup the ISO file to recover some lost important files but instead i was told my processor was not supported for Windows 11 even though I'm currently using windows 11

Now i cannot play any games - can someone help me?

 

How to get damn DISM to work?

you need to run DISM first before running SFC
SFC query's the local component stores to make repairs
DISM is targeted for rebuilding the component stores and a offline image the 'live' section is still handled by SFC in some cases
except on windows 8.1 and up because they changed it
but only for certain files and only if x part of the store is corrupt
so yea pretty confusing eh

The troubleshooting for problems with corruption found by sfc /scannow and dism/ online /cleanup-image /restorehealth were related to the upgrade from windows 7 pro to windows 10 pro. The source for the windows 10 pro upgrade was the Microsoft web site.

It impacted some upgrades but not all upgrades. It is unclear why it impacts some and not all.

The source for the windows 10 pro dvd was hp for licensed HP or Compaq PC.

The problems with sfc / scannow and dism restorehealth corruption have been fixed.

sfc /scannow now displays: windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations

dism restorehealth now displays: the restore operation completed successfully. The operation completed successfully.

These were problems with the windows 10 pro operating system downloaded from the Microsoft web site and/or installed from the dvd.

When dism restorehealth finds corruption that it does not fix I don't understand how to guide it and find the source files that it is missing. In case there is corruption in the future please list the steps to use the windows 10 pro dvd to supply the dism
restorehealth command with the sources to fix the corruption.
