    When trying to run Death Stranding I get the system error "The code execution could not proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1,dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." Naturally I looked around online and found my way to the download page for the x64 and x86 installs for Microsoft Visual C++. I ran both and got them installed, even going so far to uninstall the versions that were already there when I ran the x86 version, yet I still receive the error after trying this multiple times. I have gone through a process of reinstalling and restarting my PC so many times now that I'v

    Please download and install the VC Redistributables. VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is included in the 64-bit redist.

    MS Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015-19, or 2022

    x64 (64-bit): vc_redist.x64.exe

    That should help. If it doesn't, download the x86 version as well.
