    I can't remove Stopabit.exe in my HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE


    I have the stopabit virus on my pc and I've gone through my registry editor and deleted any traces of it however, I'm unable to delete the .exe as it says "unable to delete all specified values."?Please could someone help me.

    Can not remove Stopabit!

    1. go to control panel

    under programs go to programs and features

    tap on uninstall a program

    uninstall that program.

    2. press windows+R

    type regedit

    right click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and search(find) for "stopabit". there will be many files so make sure to search multiple times and delete those files especially "stopabit RASMANICS" and "stopabitRASAPI23/32". it will under tracking file. it tracks your keyboard and passwords etc.

    Yes, StopaBit is malware, what method did you use to remove it and did you then run a full scan with Defender or your preferred anti-virus to check if your system is now clear of malware?
