    How to shrink the size of a pdf to print


    I need to print posters at 29cm x 40cm to fit in frames at 30cm x 40cm. I want to do this on A3 paper where the paper size is 29.7cm x 42 cm.Does anyone know how to do this? The posters come from canva, maybe I can do it there? Any advice would be appreciated

    Print to PDF missing in Printer List

    Hi William,

    We suggest that you disable and re-enable the Print to PDF feature. Here are the steps:

    • Click on the Start menu and type in Windows Features.
    • Choose Turn Windows features on or off.
    • On the next window, find Microsoft Print to PDF and disable it. Click
      OK to save changes.
    • Restart your PC.
    • Repeat the same steps to re-enable Microsoft Print to PDF.
    If the issue persists, we suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps suggested on the link below under
    Advanced:

    Fix printer problems

    Microsoft Print to PDF - custom paper sizes possible?

    Hi,

    We suggest that you try to set the paper size of the exact document first. You can create a custom page size before you proceed with
    Microsoft Print to PDF, it should auto-detect the paper size of the document.

    To set the paper size in Microsoft Office:

    • Click on the Page Layout/Page Design tab.
    • Click on Size, and then in the options available, click on
      More Paper Sizes...
    • Click on the drop-down arrow and scroll down to the last option which is
      Custom size      . You will be able to customize your preferred paper size.
    • Once done, click on OK, and then proceed with Microsoft Print to PDF.

    Hi Gary,

    Please provide us with the below information to help you better.

    • Which application are you using to print the PDF document?
    • When you say 'Whor AAen' are you referring to any application?
    • What is the make and model of your printer device?

    I would suggest you to check for the size in the settings windows in the print options, if the page is not available please help us with the screen shot so that we can help you further.
