Windows 10: Windows S Mode is a MAJOR problem

Windows S mode has caused me more problems than any other Microsoft update BY FAR!Bought a new laptop, go to turn off S mode, get the message Something went wrong try again later, classic Microsoft error message.Reinstalled Windows 11, to get stuck on connect to internet screen, there is no ethernet on this laptop, like 99% of new laptops. They have since made Shift + F10 workaround not work, so this install is essentially bricked thanks to S mode.Installed windows 10, shift F 10 worked, but still in S mode. Put wireless drivers on USB drive, cannot open driver because it's in S mode. Can

Safe mode problem

To get better clarity on the issue, kindly answer the questions below:

• By saying that you have a "Safe mode problem," did you mean to say that your computer is stuck in Safe mode or are you unable to boot it to Safe mode?
• What troubleshooting steps have you attempted to resolve your concern?

If this is caused by recent programs installed on your computer, then we suggest you to run
System Restore to revert your system files to an earlier date. To run System Restore, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.
• On the run command box, type "RSTRUI.EXE" and hit enter.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

Make sure that you choose the restore point date when your computer was working fine. Please be advised that programs and applications installed on your computer after the restore point will be removed.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
