Windows 10: Windows keeps typing in reverse, video keeps restarting to minute 0, websites keeps...

I am experiencing this recently. using any browser, on any website, the page will automatically scroll to the top most part of that site. I will be unable to scroll down cause it kind of like fights the scrolling action. keeps on scrolling to top part of page. also, this happens on youtube website on any browser, every 5-20 seconds, the video will go back to the start of the video endlessly. I will then have to press CAPS LOCK/TAB on my keyboard so it will stop doing that. then i would click on the time stamp where i left off but will do that again in 5-20 seconds randomly. also, whenever I

MBR keeps corrupting after restart

I have a machine that when restarted or allowed to go into hibernation, I receive a missing/corrupted master boot record message and Windows doesn't boot. I am able to successfully repair the MBR each time using Windows recovery console, but I'm unable to determine what keeps making it happen.

Dell Latitude E6420
Windows 7 64bit

Steps performed so far: -besides fixing the MBR after each restart or hibernation
-ran system file checker sfc /scannow
-ran chkdsk
-verified that ACHI was enabled in the bios

If I can't figure this out I will end up just reinstalling the operating system, but I worried that the issue with just reoccur later down the line. Any advice/recommendations would be much appreciated.

 

Windows Explorer keeps restarting in half minute intervals???

There could be a system file corruption on your computer. Try performing a SFC scan and check if the issue persist.

System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly follow the below given steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select
  Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
• Restart the computer.

Keeps restarting on first boot


Try a hard shutdown - press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.

Wait a few minutes, then start the machine.

It might get past the point where it keeps restarting. It might simply be a driver issue and Windows keeps trying to 'fix' it.
