Windows 10: ACPI.SYS ERROR

Hello, I'm trying to install Windows XP SP3 on my old laptop Toshiba Satellite C55-B5201 When I tried to install it, bsod popped out with acpi.sys error and I've read muliple articles about it and I need to have something about EFI or SATA enabled but this laptop's bios is so bad and unusable I can't enable it. ACPI BIOS ERROR LOOP

However, you may need to download the BIOS firmware from another device, then copy it to the USB flash drive, and then try to do it directly in the BIOS after setting the USB flash drive boot priority in the BIOS.
   
2. Reset BIOS Settings:
   
   Press a specific key (usually Del, F2, or F10, consult Asus support for details) to access BIOS Settings during boot. Look for options to reset BIOS Settings to default values. This helps resolve any configuration issues that cause ACPI BIOS errors.
   
3. Check the hardware connection:
   
   Ensure that all hardware components are properly connected to the computer. If you recently installed new hardware, remove it and see if the ACPI BIOS error still exists. If not, the problem may be caused by the new hardware, if you do not have the technical ability to remove the device, please follow the guidance of ASUS after-sales support.

ACPI BIOS ERROR

• When did the ACPI BIOS error start?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• What are the things that you're seeing when you boot up the computer?
• Can your computer still load the Windows Recovery environment page? Windows Recovery environment is a page where you can choose to troubleshoot the computer, continue to Windows 10, or shutdown the computer.

BSOD while using the internet. error (L1C63x64.sys)

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

1. Uninstall Daemon Tools
2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
   • Double click the executable to open it
   • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window


AVG is trying to request data from the internet, which is why the network driver is marked as the cause.

Please uninstall AVG and see if it helps

It is further recommended to check your Qualcomm network driver for updates, its driver is not supported for Windows 10.
