  1. Why windows keeps anonymously disabling and then enabling my GPU?

I built myself my custom PC, starting with my motherboard Gigabyte Q170M DH3 and CPU Intel core i5-6500k, and I would use my old 2011 graphics card which was most certainly dead and completely dysfunctional, until I bought myself a to my knowledge first hand 3060Ti MSI and installed that and a new 650w power supply all in the same day.5-8 days pass by with the PC running fairly well, until one day I boot up my PC and I was stuck on supersized 800x600 resolution. Task Manager didn't read my card, and in device manager it had a yellow triangle warning explaining that Windows had disabl

  2. Any way to change in register which GPU is used for Energy saving?

    Hi SweetArkhane,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Yes, you can change the default GPU used for energy-saving in Windows by following these steps:

    1. Open the Windows search bar and type "Graphics Settings" and select the option that appears.
    2. In the Graphics Settings window, click on the "Browse" button under the "Select an app to set preference" section and locate the program or application you want to set a GPU preference for.
    3. Once you have selected the app, click on the "Options" button and then select "Power Saving" from the drop-down menu.
    4. Click on the "Save" button to apply the changes.
To change the default GPU for all apps, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open the Windows search bar and type "Device Manager" and select the option that appears.
    2. Expand the "Display adapters" section and right-click on the GPU you want to set as the default and select "Properties".
    3. In the Properties window, click on the "Driver" tab and then click on the "Disable" button to disable the GPU.
    4. Click on the "Yes" button when prompted to confirm the action.
    5. Once the GPU is disabled, repeat the same steps for the other GPU, but instead select "Enable" to enable it.
If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Anonymous Logon Being Logged When Changing Passwords

So I have a Windows Server 2016 domain and whenever changing a password in Active Directory, even when creating a new account, anonymous logon is being written to the logs (event 4738) even though I'm logged in with a domain administrator account.
It does this no matter who makes the password change. I have the following settings applied through group policy and have verified in the registry but it is still occurring:

Network access: Allow anonymous SID/Name translation - Disabled

Network access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts - Enabled

Network access: Do not allow anonymous enumeration of SAM accounts and shares -Enabled

Network access: Let Everyone permissions apply to anonymous users - Disabled

Network access: Named Pipes that can be accessed anonymously - Enabled and empty

Network access: Shares that can be accessed anonymously - Enabled and empty
