Can't boot after running mbr2gpt

Seems your Recovery partition in your original build may not be properly configured. However, this seems to be a problem some experience. See: MBR2GPT Failed to Update ReAgent.xml on Windows 10? [Full Fix] - after the alternative approach suggested (use Minitool) there are more suggestions.

 

MBR2GPT

if it states 'enabled'

please try this:

in an elevated command prompt

run

reagentc /disable

& if this is successful

run

reagent /enable

if this is succesful also

try

MBR2GPT /validate /allowfullos

to verify if the issue is resolved a you're ready to go for the conversion

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
