Windows 10: Win10 + C2D T5270 + 1,5 GB RAM

Starting pretty fast, working normal, but for this time really need more RAM (DDR2).

5 GB of RAM being hardware reserved

Good Day, I have a problem where my pc is running really slow (Its 8 GB ram) when I check the Task Manager it shows that 90% of my RAM and CPU are being used and only 3.4 GB of RAM is usable, When I check the Resource Monitor It shows that 5 GB of my ram is being hardware reserved. Any solutions ?. Thanks.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Will 8 GB make WIN10 run ok on a Core 2 Duo?

Microsoft lists the Windows 10 minimum hardware requirements as:

• Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC.
• RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit.
• Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS.
• Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver.
• Display: 800x600

But I reccomend

1. processor: 2.5 GHz Dual Core (Faster is better)
2. RAM :- 4 GB (2018 Atleast 8 GB)
3. HDD 320GB
4. GPU :- any (Nvidia Tiatan v is the Best)
5. Display :- 1920X1080 (Full HD)
