Windows PCs come with many apps and programs installed with the operating system. In addition, manufacturers install a few more apps that we normally do not install or use. Stop windows automatic driver install

I'm having a problem with installing a nvidia card. windows 7 automatically installs some wdm 1.1 drivers, then when i install the 195.39 drivers, it gives me less performance. like the cards lags in games when it should run fine.

how can i stop windows from installing the drivers automatically ?

i tried checking the "don't install drivers from windows update" in device manager. it still installs it.

  3. Bloatware not automatically installed.

As far as I know, Windows 10 automatically installs unwanted bloatware silently without permission (ex. Candy Crush). However, i tried to install Windows 10 in a virtual machine with the following steps without itself installing the bloatware.

    1. Create a virtual machine

    2. Disable internet access for the virtual machine

    3. Install Windows 10 and first login

    4. Remove placeholder tiles (Right click icons with Download icons -> Unpin from Start)

    5. Shutdown and enable internet access

    6. Start the machine

    6. Update Windows

    7. Update Apps and Microsoft Store

    8. Restart

Is this a solution? I doubt that unpin placeholder tiles from Start Menu really work.
