I was recently playing Elders Scrolls Online then decided to play Forza Horizon 4. I notice that the game was running at -20 fps on high, which is odd because I was just playing it on high the other day with is at 64 fps. After tweaking the graphics to an all time low, I was still getting the same - 20 fps, at this point I knew something was up. I tried checking GeForce for a new update but nothing was available. I restarted my laptop and was met with this screen and this resulting desktop. I just wanna know if there is a simpler solution before I start a fresh install of windows and download ESO, Forza, Autodesk, Adobe suite, Chrome... (over 180GB of data) again.

    :)

My UI is not looking good

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond My UI is not looking good :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
