  1. Windows 10 setup uefi and network connection

    Hi,

When installing Windows 10 from usb flash drive after it boots up from bios sequence order it has to be #1 UEFI usb or shall I select the NON-UEFI for the USB stick to install windows. What is better to select ?

Also before running setup of windows 10 fresh install I usually power off the router so no network available during setup. Is is better to leave it on and the cable connected to pc during setup or connect to the internet after windows 10 has installed and booted to desktop ?

    Thanks,

    Gabriel

    :)

    Windows Setup and UEFI BIOS

Suppose I have my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit ISO setup contents copied to a boot-able USB flash drive.
Suppose I modified it by copying the folder efi/microsoft/boot, and pasting it to efi/ to make my windows boot on UEFI systems. (as said on this tutorial, for 64-bit)

    Question:
Would my UEFI-ied Windows 7 Setup work on other BIOS systems?

    Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.
