Windows 10: Activating Windows 10

Recently I switched Motherboard on my PC. Before switching I connected my digital license to my Microsoft account. Now on my new PC I can’t activate windows. When I click on activate windows>troubleshoot >changed hardware I can select my old PC but after I click "This is my device right now" then activate I get the error: "We can’t reactivate windows on this device. Try again later". Now I have tried this yesterday and today but no change any help would be appreciated

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
