Windows 10: 0x8007042b - 0x4000D The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during...

I've been trying to update my Windows 10 1809 to 1909, and having tried a lot of things I'm totally stuck. It gets to about 91% complete in the second boot phase, but then always rolls back the update. The last thing I tried was an installation from an ISO image on a USB stick, which gave me the following error:


A few more details:

• I have 70 Gb of space on my OS drive.
  
• I've run the Windows Update Troubleshooter multiple times, and each time it couldn't find a problem.

• I've run the DISM and SFC commands as indicated . But, No difference.

• I've started in safe mode and removed the Windows/SoftwareDistribution and catroot2 folders contents, as indicated with this method and the CMD method. Also, No difference.

Any insights or help is most appreciated!

I Have the same issue upgrading from 1511.

Tried everything that I have found and still fails with error 0x01900101-0x4000D

Installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase during MIGRATE_DATA operation.

I have reinstalled and update all drivers

Any ideas?

We couldn't install Windows 10

0x8007001F - 0x4000D

The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation

Have tried this several times from a downloaded ISO.

All peripherals unplugged.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.
